About the experience

I specialize in capturing the poetic moments and essence of you in those moments in between the big stuff. The giggles, the kisses, and the tears. My goal with every session is to photograph you the way I want to be photographed, and that doesn’t always mean the typical “stand and say cheese” images (although we get those too… I call them pictures for Grandma!)

Sessions Start at $600

Your session fee includes:

  • About 1 hour of photography time at the location of your choice

  • Phone consultation to plan your session

  • Styling Assistance

  • Access to my ever growing client closet

  • A proof gallery of 40+ images to choose from

  • 15 final hand edited, high resolution images

  • Print release

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • My pricing is based on my cost of doing business as a legal, tax paying business. You are also investing in my years of knowledge, experience, and education.

    This pricing also allows me to invest more time, effort, and emotion into each and every session to ensure the best results.

  • Yes! All clients are able to set up a payment plan! Just let me know at the time you inquire and we can get one worked out for you!

  • This is a tough one for me! Sometimes I’m able to share a few as I import images but I have found that I truly deliver my best work when I can edit an entire session from start to finish, so I usually won’t share much more than that until I can edit the entire session. Once you see your images start to flood my instagram, or facebook page, your gallery is almost complete!

  • You will receive a proofing gallery by email within 2 weeks of the session date. Once you let me know that you’ve chosen all of your favorite images, I will hand edit your final images and have them returned to you ASAP!

  • In the event that the weather conditions are not desirable for the shoot, we can either reschedule or use an alternative location.

    Due to liability and equipment damages, this decision will be at Photographer’s discretion.

  • I know figuring out what to wear for your next photo session can feel stressful and overwhelming, but I am here to make it as painless as possible!

    Once your session is booked I’ll send you a list of my favorite places to shop, outfit coordination ideas, color guides, and more! All of my sessions include styling assistance, so please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

  • Tan line blending: $5 per image

    Severe Acne Removal: $15 per image

    Braces removal: $15 per image

    Minor clothing fixes: $2 per image

    Head swaps: $10 per image

    Makala Winters Photography retains the right to edit the photographs as they see fit based on experience and expertise and omit any image(s) that do not meet their standards.
